The perfect storm

Ten years after 9/11, we find ourselves in yet another perfect storm: an economic, rather than a political storm. Many articles appear about this subject. Some minimise the seriousness of the situation. Others predict the end of western economy and civilisation. Most articles are disappointing for their superficiality. But we should continue the discussion.

The text below is not superficial. It urges us to think about strategies. And it indicates a paradox. Do we need to do 'business as usual' or do we need to do 'unusual business'? The uncomfortable truth seems to be: we need to do both. And we will have to bring sacrifices, all of us. Let us see if we are still capable of doing that collectively. See the perfect storm.
